Our Impact

Some facts and circles. I have cut and pasted bits of text to be used as a template, this isn’t intended to be final copy –

Statistics from 2024-25

Our 45 volunteer drivers transport our 400+ members over 60,000 miles a year.

Many of these journeys are to important health and medical appointments for people who live rurally and have no vehicle, and no suitable public transport.

Accessible Services

Partly funded by Wiveliscombe Town Council, the Community Office has long been a hub for the community, offering services from legal and police surgeries to printing, local advice and book sales.

Since COVID, the Office has seen a much reduced uptake of its services, with many using online services instead.

Grants and Fundraising

Our Funders

We received generous donations from the following people and grant funders.

[Can all/any of these be linked? Have done a few for examples but please check they are right!]

Testimonials

“Your drivers are such gems. I don’t know what I would do without Wivey Link”

Mary M, Wivey Link Member since 2019

“They are all Angel volunteers and unsung heroes!”

Mike H, Member since
September 2024

I don’t like driving in the dark in the winter and so I rely on Wivey Link to get everywhere. I get to know the drivers and I meet lots of other passengers, too. It is a lifeline!

Mary, Member since 2023
